Y for Yak

IMG_2058

Taken 5 years back at Rohtang Pass at a height of 13054ft(3959mts).

Apparently the weather on that day was not in a good mood. The cloud was quite low and there was wind that was quite unruly. I used to have a modest canon digicam in those days. Still this was my first experience of life in snow and it told me one thing, life here is tough, tougher than what we all tend to think.

These Yaks are supposed to be wild animals, they perhaps can bear this nature and true to our nature we humans have not spared them and these folks are used to transport people.

  1. Nice picture! Sometimes I feel sorry for these people who suffer this tough climate. They can migrate to other sane places, I think. But then feel how we feel…our place is our placce always!
